Every now and then a Minecraft creation comes along that is simply awe-inspiring. Without a doubt, this is one of those times, especially for fans of Zelda. An online server of dedicated players and talented crafters have created Hyrule itself, and made both the server and the map download available to the public.
The server, aptly entitled ‘HyruleCraft’, is a complete one-to-one scale replica of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in all of her blocky glory. As the trailer below reveals, the team crafted locales from all parts of the game and they certainly seem to be accurate representations of the actual in-game locations.
Fans of both Minecraft and Zelda will no doubt want to take a look at the trailer below:
The server has 35 slots, and understandably it’s pretty full-up since the public release of the IP (64.79.106.218). Despite the busy traffic, you should certainly take the time to check it out if you’re a fan of Ocarina of Time, or even just enjoy seeing talented Minecraft creations. The process of building, planning and creating the recreation took the team behind it nine months, but the results seem to be well-worth the effort - and they’re not keen to just end things here.
