Locating a new resource is hard enough when you’re a regular size, but how does one find clover leaves in Obsidian’s new survival game Grounded?

After the much needed necessities of food and water are - somewhat - taken care of, it’s start to start branching out for new resources to craft better items. Finding those resources can be difficult though when soldier ants and spiders are just one wrong turn away. This guide will, hopefully, give you a solid starting plan on how you can acquire clover leafs and craft the basic items and armor it provides.

Thankfully, Obsidian has made starting out a little bit more simple than some games tend to. You will still be plagued with creatures and starvation, but clover leafs are relatively easy to find once you’ve gotten your bearings on the games controls and the backyard’s layout.

When starting out, you will be prompted to go and investigate a “mysterious machine”. This machine will kick-start the games campaign, but along the trail you will stumble across computer base where you can analyze materials. Continue following the trail past the computer and towards the mysterious machine. There you will see the clovers growing all around it.

Harvesting clover leaf is simple, as long as you have a hatchet, and will give players three to four leaves. Once you have harvested any new material, it’s a good idea to make your way back to the computer-analyzer to unlock new crafting items with the newly obtained materials. Once that is complete, you should now be able to craft the clover poncho, clover shin guards, clover hood, new base items and a storage container. The latter coming in handy when you begin to obtain more materials than you can carry.

Grounded is another successful launch by developer Obsidian (The Outer Worlds & Pillars of Eternity) and has been garnering positive reviews on both Steam and Xbox Game Pass.  Due to its successful preview, we can expect more content to expand this tiny-BIG world in the near future.
