Last month, any player that logged into Grand Theft Auto Online had a free GTA$500,000 deposited directly into their Maze Bank accounts. It seems that Rockstar Games is not done handing out free money in GTA Online, though, as the developer has recently announced that there is another GTA$500,000 up for grabs, and indeed it is extremely easy to claim.
Specifically, all a player needs to do to receive this free money in GTA Online is play the game at some point in May. This is obviously a very easy requirement to fulfill, and the cash will again be deposited into a player’s Maze Bank account. As with last month’s offering, fans can expect this free GTA$ to arrive within seven days of their first login.
To note, this is not the only way that players can currently get some easy money in GTA 5 Online, as fans that setup two-step verification will receive another GTA$500,000. While this is slightly more complicated than just playing the game, requiring players to link their Rockstar Social Club accounts to their console accounts, the prospect of free money in GTA 5 Online will likely be enough to convince many fans to go through the process.
Once a player has received their free GTA$ then all that is left is to figure out how to spend it. One thing that some fans may want to do with this cash is purchase an alien suit, which will allow them to participate in the ongoing alien war in GTA Online. These alien suits can be found within the Outfits section at any Ammu-Nation, and buying one is a quick way to spend a sizable portion of this month’s free GTA 5 Online money, as they cost more than $300,000.
Of course, earning free cash and donning a martian bodysuit are not the only reasons to login into GTA Online at this time. Indeed, a new set of missions, collected under the title Gerald’s Last Play, were added to GTA 5 Online less than two weeks ago, and now may just be the perfect time for players to jump into the game and check them out.
