There has recently been a viral gang war taking place within GTA Online between green and purple aliens, and it looks as if the battle has caught Rockstar’s attention. The outfits originally ran players over $330k, but in celebration of the war’s popularity, you can pick both of them up for free right now.
The viral event first began when groups of players gathered together wearing green alien outfits, where they would drive around and beat the crap out of others when they least expected it. Seeing these attacks play out has been pretty entertaining to say the least, and a full out war has come as a result.
Other players have decked themselves out in the purple alien outfits, waging war against the green aliens and protecting innocent players from their attacks. Not only that, but a “Men In Black” faction has also began appearing, where players are looking to hunt down both groups of extraterrestrial beings.
If you’ve been looking to get in on the fun, now is your chance. Both the green and purple alien outfits are free as of now, and you can find them at any of the in-game clothing stores. Who knows, maybe this war’s popularity will lead to Rockstar making an official alien event some time in the future.
