Looking for all of GTA Online’s new movie prop collectible? Read on.
With the new Los Santos Summer update to GTA Online, a slew of new activities, missions, and vehicles were added to the game, but also a brand new list of collectibles to search out in the city. This time the collectibles take the form of movie props hidden in specific locations or vehicles scattered across the map, and finding them all will unlock a special reward that you’ll agree is out of this world. Check out this guide to find all ten of the collectibles so you can claim this special reward.
Before you head out to the first location, make sure you actually begin Solomon’s Movie Prop Hunt. Once you’ve installed the Los Santos Summer Special update and are in a game, wait for a message to come in asking you to go over to the movie studio. Go there and into the office to hear about the mission to kick it off. Also note that you can collect as many or as few props as you want before returning to turn them in, so feel free to collect all ten before going back.
Fixed Prop Locations
The ten props are divided between ones that are in set locations and random vehicles. The ones in set locations will always be in the same place, but the vehicle ones will appear as blue dots on your mini-map as you travel around. They do seem to trigger in certain areas, which we will describe below.
The first prop is a film reel and is right outside of Solomon’s office beside a garbage can. Grab this one as soon as you begin the mission
Prop 2 is inside a restroom beside the High Limit tables inside the casino. Find the bathrooms, head inside, and it will be right in front of you by the urinals.
The third prop is waiting on the porch of the Old House in the Gran Senora section of the map.
Next is an Alien prop which is, appropriately enough, in the UFO Art Pack in the Grand Senora desert. Go to the North side and you can find it perched on a raised area.
Number five is sitting on the alter in the Altruist Colony, found in the mountains by Los Santos. Be warned that the people in the colony will attack you for trespassing here, so be prepared to fight you way in to grab this one.
The sixth prop is held in the back office of the Vanilla Unicorn strip club. You can’t just walk in the back office, though, and will either have to shoot your way in or pay for a private dance in the back lounge to reach it. Either way, make your way to the office to pick this one up.
The last fixed prop is in the security room at Fort Zancudo. By now you should know the dangers of this area, so be very cautious and quick getting into the room and nabbing the collectible before you get taken out.
Vehicle Prop Spawns
The final three props are all going to spawn randomly in vehicles, usually something like a van or truck. Once you find one, you’ll need to hijack the vehicle to collect the prop. If you don’t come across these while collecting the other props, they tend to appear in the areas around the clothing shop in Paleto Bay, South of the casino by the theater, and in the area surrounding the Kortz building.
These are not guaranteed locations, they are somewhat random, but are good places to start if you still need to track them down.
Solomon’s Movie Props Reward
Head back to Solomon’s office, hand over all ten props, and in addition to $50,000 you will get the Space Interloper Outfit. This costume dresses you in a full body suit of a angry green alien, perfect for showing off online.
