Rockstar Games continues to build anticipation for Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony with weekly updates on a number of exclusive features. Last Thursday’s “Weapons” update introduced gamers to new artillery that will be finding its way into Liberty City: sticky bombs, advanced sniper rifles, powerful assault shotguns and machine guns, as well as a steerable parachute.
This Thursday’s update, “Vehicles” showcased the new rides: The N.O.O.S.E Armored Personnel Carrier -with 360-degree rotatable turret and explosive ordinance, the Buzzard Helicopter armed with rockets and a high-caliber machine gun, high-speed Smuggler speedboat, F620 European sports car as well as a new bike, luxury helicopter, and five cars - the Buffalo, Bullet, Caddy, Serrano, and Super Diamond.
Also part of Thursday’s update was an introduction video for Armando Torres and Henrique Bardas, characters featured in The Ballad of Gay Tony, as well as Brian Jeremy who appears in The Lost and the Damned.
Rockstar will continue to update The Ballad of Gay Tony site each week until launch.
GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony will be available October 29th on DVD as part of the GTA: Episodes from Liberty City retail bundle which also includes the first DLC release, The Lost and Damned, and does not require a copy of the original GTA IV disc in order to play. For players who already own a copy of GTA IV, The Ballad of Gay Tony will also be available for download in the Xbox Live Marketplace.
