The seventh through ninth missions of Halo 5: Guardians feature 27 mission intel, making them the most collectible-heavy three levels in the game. Reunion contains seven intel, Swords of Sanghelios has the most in the game with 12 and Alliance features eight. These three levels feature three skulls total, with two on Reunion and one on Swords of Sanghelios.

Players who have already beaten these levels and have picked up some intel already may not want to waste time searching for intel they already have. To avoid this, pause the game in-level and click “Mission Intel”. Here, you can see the names of all the intel you have collected. All of the names of intel will be shown in this guide, so if you see a name that you know you have collected, simply skip ahead.

Reunion

Unggoy Personal Log 083 1/2

Reunion is home to seven intel, one more than the previous level. After riding the elevator down, run through the wilderness until you reach the spot pictured below.

Take a left into a cave and follow it through to the other side. You’ll find the data pad laying next to a dead grunt.

Drop down straight in front of you and head forward to the blue flame emitting from the tree stump. Go to the right of this stump and follow through this cave, hugging the left wall. This will take you to the second data pad.

UNSC Marine Status Update

Again, drop straight down in front of you and head forward and to the right. Follow the rock staircase up until you pass the glowing red fungi on your right.

Jump up to the ledge to the right of it, then walk through this cave to find the intel.

Forerunner Record: Search 1/5

The first Forerunner console of the game can be found once you reach the area with the two shade turrets and jackal snipers.

After clearing out all the enemies, head under the platform that the two shade turrets are sitting on to find the console.

Forerunner Record: Search 4/5

Continue through the level until you ride another elevator down. You will go through a cave and reach the point pictured below.

Take a left instead of continuing forward and charge through the wall. Head right in this cave and down the spiraling rock ramp to find the second Forerunner console.

Forerunner Record: Search 2/5

Once you reach the point pictured below, take the lower path directly in front of you and hug the left wall. This will take you directly to the intel.

Forerunner Record: Search 3/5

After the Warden fight and killing all of the enemies on the hill, you will cross a light bridge. Across the light bridge, behind the barrier directly in front of you will be the level’s final intel.

Swords of Sanghelios

Ceremonial Sword 3/6

Swords of Sanghelios is the most collectible-heavy level in the game, with 12 intel to collect. The first can be found right from the start. Head right from where you spawn and climb up the rocks pictured below.

You will see the entrance to some ruins. Approach it to find an artifact on the ground.

Patrol Log - Scout ‘Ghattam

Very shortly after the first intel, you will drop down to a lower area with some destroyed statues and ruins strewn about. Hug the cliffside to your left and run all the way around to the end of it.

In a small alcove to your right will be a data pad.

Ceremonial Sword 1/6

Again, very shortly after the previous intel, you will come to any area with two waterfalls. This is the first area with combat. After dealing with that, head through the left waterfall, and at the bottom will be another artifact.

Patrol Log - Scout ‘Thrun

Upon reaching the area with the shade turret, pictured below, ascend the rocks on the right to reach a cave up high. In here, along the right wall, you will find a data pad.

Patrol Log - Scout ‘Hakkat

Continue forward through the cave to the next area until you reach a hole in the cliff, overlooking the next section.

Turn around once you reach here and you should see an energy sword in pretty plain sight ahead of you. The data pad is sitting right next to it.

Ceremonial Sword 2/6

Once you are tasked with climbing the ruins, do so until you reach the collapsed, leaning pillar next to the upright one.

Walk up the ramped one and jump to the other, then climb up to the ledge above. On the far edge of this platform will be the next sword artifact.

Patrol Log - Scout ‘Makesh

Drop to the stone, semicircular platform directly beneath you. You should be able to see the next data pad on a ledge over the gap. Spartan Locke is aiming towards that ledge in the picture below.

Sprint-jump to reach the ledge, then grab the data pad. It’s recommended that you get this data pad shortly after getting a checkpoint so that you don’t lose too much progress if you fall.

Shangheili Personal Log 503

After exiting the ruins and arriving outside, take a left instead of the intended right. Behind the pillar nearest to the edge will be the eighth piece of intel.

Kit Pitlimp’s Adventure Log 1/4

Head forward a bit and you should see a collapsed pillar ramping up and to the right. Climb up it, then look down to see a cracked floor.

Ground-pound this floor to reach a secret cave beneath. Walk to the far end to find a data pad on a small pedestal.

Message to Kitun ‘Arach 1/2

Immediately after you kill the two hunters and are delivered some mantises to fight with, the door will open to the area pictured below.

After clearing out the enemies, exit y our mantis and climb up the torso of the broken statue on the right, to reach the upper ledge where the statues are. Head to the far left of this platform to find the data pad behind the far left statue.

Message to Kitun ‘Arach 2/2

After dealing with the wraith and countless enemies in your mantis, you will find yourself at the following entrance. Instead of entering it, exit your mantis and go up the collapsed ruins to the left.

At the top of this ramp, turn around and jump to the cave in the mountain, pictured below. Follow through this cave to the end, where the data pad will be collectable on the left side of the room.

Sangheili Personal Log 139

In the area following the last intel, clear out the enemies once again, then head up the stairs on the right of the area.

Look over the edge to the right of the three stair-like platforms to find a small pool of water. The data pad can be found right where Spartan Locke is aiming at in the picture below.

Alliance

Sangheili Personal Log 383

Alliance is a very similar level to Meridian Station, meaning that all of the intel is very close to one another and you won’t have to deal with any combat during the collection phase. The level features eight intel total. For the first one, immediately make a 180 turn when you spawn and walk to the back of the area. It will be on the ground next to some crates.

Honorguard Personal Log 1/2

Continue down the path until you pass an elite on your left, up on a rock. Climb up the rocks behind him, then cross the stone bridge to your right towards the cave.

Run through this cave to find the data pad sitting on a rock.

Camp Quartermaster Personal Log

Backtrack out of the cave, back onto the stone bridge. Once you reach it, face right and you should see a circular stone platform in front of you. Spartan Locke is aiming at it in the picture below.

Sprint-jump to it then collect the data pad that is sitting on it.

Sangheili Medic’s Personal Log

Drop down from the stone platform that you collected the previous intel on, then turn around to face the numerous red umbrellas. Run underneath them and follow the path around to the left until you reach a group of elites.

Jump up onto the right platform to find the data pad sitting in the center of a circle.

Sangheili Linguistics Report

Backtrack into the main area, then go towards Dr. Halsey. She will be highlighted if you hit down on the direction pad. Walk in the direction that she is facing, to find a small room with the data pad on a crate.

Sangheili Personal Log 673

Turn around and exit the room, then look to the left. You should see a collapsed pillar on the far platform. Head over to it then climb up to the top of it, using the rocks to get the height needed.

Turn around and sprint-jump to the circular stone platform in front of you, where the data pad can be found.

Do Not Open

From the platform where you found the previous intel, drop down and head in the direction that Spartan Locke is facing in the picture below.

Wrap left around the stone structure to find the data pad next to a crate.

Dr. Halsey: Status

To your left, you should see a pelican. Head to the back left of it to find the final piece of intel sitting behind a crate.
