Halo Infinite is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of the year. While the gameplay for Halo Infinite drew some criticism, the game still has plenty of eager fans and with its impending release, the franchise is marketing itself through several avenues. On top of typical trailers that announce the release, there are also more unlikely marketing collaborations ranging from food, drinks and now guns. The latest collaboration adds to Master Chief’s already impressive list of partnerships.
Master Chief has long collaborated with the likes of Monster Energy, Doritos and many more. Yet it seems that the new game, which promises to introduce new elements to the existing franchise, is also looking at new marketing avenues. Through a tweet, Halo announced its new partnership with Nerf and it has got fans excited.
This toy will excite Halo and Nerf fans alike and may even attract some new consumers because of the mystery around its digital asset. It will be interesting to see if the toy does tie into a greater element of the title, particularly as conjecture still surrounds the Halo Infinite. If it does, this collaboration could be another successful venture for Master Chief and the Halo franchise.
Halo Infinite is in development for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
