Harry Potter: Wizards Unite isn’t letting the ongoing stay-at-home orders slow down its plans for July 2020 events in any way. Some parts of the world are easing lockdown orders, but the mobile AR going is remaining play-at-home friendly for at least another month and has an exciting lineup of events to keep witches and wizards busy over the next four weeks.
Players may, once again, be a bit disappointed that they can’t head out and explore their communities with friends as easily this July as the game’s second summer continues, but at least there will still be plenty of activities to keep them busy from home. In addition to the ongoing special spawns and reduced Portkey distances, this month will feature just one Community Day (remaining at the normal level), a very exciting Brilliant Event that puts the spotlight on some adorable beasts, and another exciting Wizards Weekend.
As expected, the Brilliant Event is broken into two parts like usual. Part one kicks off today, so players can dive into the July festivities a bit early…

All day Saturday, July 11 from 12:01 a.m.–11:59 p.m. local time
Shine a light on the collection of dark curios and creatures found in Knockturn Alley including Thestrals, Swooping Evils and more.
Baby Beasts Brilliant Event Part 2
Tuesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. PT–Tuesday, July 21 at 11 a.m. PT
Continue to help return adorable Brilliant baby magical beasts including Baby Unicorns and Baby Hippogriffs.
July Wizarding Weekend
Friday, July 24 at 11 a.m. PT–Monday, July 27 at 11 a.m. PT
Spend a weekend recounting noteworthy Hogwarts heroes where you can encounter Legends of Hogwarts Foundables such as Young Remus Lupin and Albus Dumbledore himself.
