Harry Potter: Wizards Unite isn’t letting the ongoing stay-at-home orders slow down its plans for May 2020 events in any way. In addition to the rescheduled March Community Day, the mobile AR experience has tons of other play-at-home friendly events coming up for players to enjoy.
Players may be a bit disappointed that they can’t head out and explore their communities with friends as easily this month, but at least there will still be plenty of activities to keep them busy from home. In addition to the ongoing special spawns and reduced Portkey distances, this month will feature two Community Days and a very exciting Brilliant Event that puts the spotlight on the most famous sport from the world of Harry Potter - Quidditch.
The Quidditch Brilliant Event will be broken into two parts, like usual, the first of which kicks off tomorrow. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates as we learn more about all of the tasks and rewards that will be involved in that event.
“Excitement is building as we near the finals of the traditional Hogwarts Inter-house Quidditch Cup! With everyone abuzz about Quidditch, the Calamity appears to be answering in kind by manifesting Quidditch-related Foundables and memories of matches past. Which Hogwarts house do you support? The daring Gryffindors? The slippery Slytherins? The sharp Ravenclaws? The determined Hufflepuffs? Whichever team you’re rooting for, you’ll need to dust off your broom and help keep the Quidditch Cup out of the Calamity’s grasp!
Please note: To enable as many players around the world as possible to participate safely, these events have been adjusted to facilitate playing from home. Please remember to adhere to local rules and regulations, and be respectful of others and your surroundings.”
