Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players have had an exciting start to the summer despite the ongoing stay-at-home orders and a lack of opportunities to play in-person around many cities like earlier in the year. Although life has returned to a new normal in many states and countries, the mobile AR experience is still optimizing its monthly event for remote play to allow players to participate in a way that makes them feel safe if necessary. The unveiling of the new Knight Bus feature helped keep players engaged in Fortress battles throughout the late spring and early summer and a quick shift to play-at-home friendly events have made the late March through June Brilliant and Community Day activities just as successful as ever.

Now that the July’s Community Day is right around the corner, witches and wizards are able to start making their plans for the July 11 event. Whether they are playing from home or heading back out into the outdoors, there will be plenty to keep them busy, including a list of special Tasks and Rewards available during the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite event.

The event tasks and rewards are pretty standard this time around and don’t offer anything too crazy or profitable, but they will still be worth completing because the tasks will come naturally just by participating in the day’s activities. The rewards may not be mindblowing, but they’re essentially free for anyone playing throughout the day anyway.  The completion reward is also a slightly better value and well worth collecting if players have time during the course of the extended event.

All July Community Day Tasks and Rewards

Earn 7500 Wizarding XP - 1 Wit-sharpening Potion

Collect 5 Knockturn Alley Sign by using Dark Arts Runestones - 1 Dawdle Draught

Return 30 Ministry Executioner Foundables - 1 Hermit Crab Shell

Return 20 Portrait of Bellatrix Lestrange Foundables - 1 Powdered Dragon Claw

Return 15 Thestral Foundables - 1 Wormwood

Return 10 Swooping Evil Foundables - 1 Strong Invigoration Draught

Completion Reward

3 Spell Books

40 Gold

200 Wizarding XP

20 Spell Energy

That should be everything players need to know to dive into the July Community Day event when it rolls around next weekend. Like the last few versions of the monthly celebration, the July event will be taking place over the course of a full day, so there isn’t as much of a need to rush out and complete everything within a three hour window of time. This should make it much easier to still complete all of the featured tasks for players who are still social distancing and avoiding crowded city or campus areas where play is often most popular. Be sure to keep a close eye on the clock and take full advantage of all the bonuses and features before time is up!
