Harvest Moon: One World was already announced for Nintendo Switch earlier this month by family-friendly publisher, Natsume Inc., but the game will also be coming to PlayStation 4 later this year in North and South America. No official date has been revealed yet, other than the time frame being around sometime this fall.

Although not much else has been released in the way of actual in-game details for Harvest Moon: One World, we did get our first look at the PlayStation 4 box art, which features a duo of farmers and their barnyard chums excitedly overlooking their farm and the rest of the Harvest Moon: One World landscape, volcano and all.

Besides that (and the One World logo), all we know so far is that the game will have everything that fans of the Harvest Moon series expect in the way of characters to meet, villages to explore, and the adventurous challenges that occur while they manage their farm. However, fans can expect Harvest Moon: One World to take advantage of an all-new game engine with improved graphics.

President and CEO of Natsume, Hiro Maekawa, was excited to announce the PlayStation 4 news, as he stated:

“We are excited to share the first look at the new art for Harvest Moon: One World, which gives you a sneak peek at the vast world filled with mystery, challenges, new friends, and farming fun that awaits players. We are also excited to officially confirm it is coming to the PlayStation 4 alongside the Switch. The Harvest Moon franchise has a long history on the Sony platforms including releases on the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, 3, and 4 as well as the PS Vita and PSP.”

News regarding Harvest Moon: One World is trickling out slowly, and will likely continue to do so over the course of the next few months. Summer is barely getting started, but consider us already excited for autumn to get here so we can jump back into a new Harvest Moon.
