Better hide the women and children; there are “exposed butts” in Predator: Hunting Grounds.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is set to arrive on April 24 for PC and PS4. Like most games in the Predator franchise, it’s an asymmetrical shooter where a group of soldiers is hunted by the fearsome Predator. While the soldiers have guns, the Predator has incredible speed and invisibility as well as a shoulder-mounted laser cannon.
Which all sounds like fun and games, but according to the ESRB, players need to be careful. There are “exposed butts” in this game.
Unsurprisingly, the ESRB rated Predator: Hunting Grounds “M” for Mature in their recent rating update. While the usual assortment of blood, guts, and gore are the primary reason for this rating, the ESRB also gave an intriguing tidbit on what to expect in Hunting Grounds that honestly sounds more like advertising than a warning:
“Some scenes depict skinned corpses with exposed buttocks.”
Does this mean that the buttocks are exposed due to their lack of skin? Or does this mean that there’s only skin on the buttocks and nowhere else, thus leaving the butt as the only part of the body left to be “exposed”?
The only way to find out will be to play the game when it releases on April 24.
