If you were looking for a reason to dive back into Hearthstone, an extravaganza of loot and rewards spanning four weeks would probably fit the bill nicely. Well, buckle up, because that’s exactly what the Felfire Festival offers.

It’s strange to think that Hearthstone launched way back in 2014. From its humble beginnings as Heroes Of Warcraft, Hearthstone has developed a huge, dedicated following, and has risen to become a formidable esport in its own right.

This isn’t to say that the game hasn’t had its ups and downs along the way, of course, but it’s now perhaps the most popular digital collectible card game in the industry. Taking that crown was one thing, but retaining it is another matter entirely.

How does the game keep its rabid players coming back? The same way all such titles do: with regular events, offering special challenges, a variety of loot and different tasks to complete. The Felfire Festival kicks off today, running until July 7th and offering four separate weeks of new content.

The action kicks off with patch 17.4’s launch, with the Battlegrounds: Pirates update. Week 2 begins on June 17, adding the Arianna Starseeker: Trial By Felfire story, Legendary Quest #1 and associated content bundle to the mix. The Felfire Brawl, Legendary Quest #2 and Trial By Felfire Challenges are introduced in week 3, while the final week adds another Felfire Brawl (the Rumbledome) and Legendary Quest #3 to proceedings.
