Discounts and sales occur infrequently in Hearthstone, but right now Blizzard is offering players a Year of the Dragon Bundle. This gives players the opportunity to round out their collection of Standard cards or to load up on crafting dust for far less than the normal cost of card packs.
From now until May 4, players can pick up the bundle for $29.99/29.99€ on the client store or in the game that includes 10 Rise of Shadows, 10 Saviors of Uldum, 10 Decent of Dragons, and 15 Year of the Dragon Packs. At a total of 45 packs, this bundle is among the best value players can get for their money.
While it is not stated explicitly, the Year of the Dragon packs should be considered their own pack type, and with it, should have their own Legendary pity timer. This means that unless these packs are treated differently from all other packs, players should receive at least one legendary within their first ten packs of this type.
In January of this year, Blizzard released the Dragon master Bundle, featuring these same packs of cards. Half of the proceeds then went to help crowdfund the Masters Tour’s six tournaments this year. If you’re looking for the cheapest Hearthstone cards, this is by far the best way to get them!
