If Sony is to be trusted, those of us who want one will have a PS5 in our living rooms by the end of 2020. Or bedroom, or bathroom, or wherever in the house you choose to game. That is in spite of no official release date being announced, and rumors that pandemic problems and component shortages will mean everyone who wants a PS5 will not be able to get their hands on one right away.
The good news for anyone planning on investing in a PS5 is the good reviews far outweigh the bad. 141 to 46 at the moment, with 70% of reviewers giving it the full five stars. The bad news is since no one has a PS5 right now, let alone 187 randomly selected gamers in the UK, none of these reviews are accurate. That is unless you believe that time travelers are real and living among us.
“You’re in for a treat!” claimed one British time traveler. Good to know. Not everyone had something quite as glowing to contribute. “Purchased this on the 5th of July 2035, scratched to hell,” reads another review from the future. Probably one that those of us planning on buying the console sometime before the year 2030 don’t need to worry about.
