The Instinct ability makes Tooke one of the best characters in Hood: Outlaws & Legends, as it heals teammates and marks nearby enemies. The Lord Of Light achievement, which you can unlock using Tooke’s ability, focuses on the healing aspect of this ability. A Higher Power focuses on marking enemies instead, as it requires you to highlight ten or more targets with a single use of the ability.
This guide will cover everything that you need to know to unlock A Higher Power in Hood: Outlaws & Legends.
How To Unlock A Higher Power In Hood: Outlaws & Legends
To unlock A Higher Power, you need to highlight at least ten enemies with one use of Tooke’s Instinct ability. For this achievement, you can focus on enemy guards, as the description does not specify that enemy players need to be involved.
The easiest way to unlock A Higher Power is to follow these steps:
- Gather a large group of guards together. Allow a guard to spot you, so that they enforce a lockdown in your surrounding area. This will close any Portcullis gates and cause reinforcements to arrive nearby. Lure them all into a big group and count the total number of guards.
If this initial group contains at least ten guards, use Tooke’s ability to make the achievement unlock. If you need a few extra, make the current group follow you whilst you run around the fortress to attract more.
Which Perks Should You Use To Unlock A Higher Power In Hood: Outlaws & Legends?
Tooke unlocks the Deep Rooted perk at level 6. With this perk equipped, the range of Tooke’s ability is higher.
- Tip: Although A Higher Power can be unlocked without this perk, using it will make things a lot easier.
If your group of guards is spread out, or you can’t find ten, having Deep Rooted equipped might help you highlight some enemy players roaming around the map. This will count towards your total, helping you unlock the achievement.
Roaming Monk will also be useful, as it increases your movement speed whilst sprinting. As you are being chased by multiple guards, this perk should help you keep ahead of the pack and ensure that you don’t get overwhelmed. It should also make you faster than enemy players, so you can outrun any attempt to sabotage your efforts.
