At the end of every heist in Hood: Outlaws & Legends, you will be presented with the Scales of Justice. This allows you to divide all the gold you have earned during a match into two pockets: you, and your Hideout. This guide will cover everything you need to know about the Scales of Justice so that you are always striking the perfect balance.

What Are The Scales Of Justice In Hood: Outlaws & Legends?

The Scales of Justice are a set of scales that appear on screen at the end of every match. It will display all of the gold that you earned during the match and ask you to split it.

The left side of the scales puts the gold in your pocket, which you can use to buy new weapons and outfits.

The right side of the scales gives the gold to the poor, which is then used to upgrade your Hideout. This is how you unlock new weapons and outfits to equip.

You will only get a small amount of time to make this decision, but it is certainly a tough one to make.

Should You Keep Or Share Gold In Hood: Outlaws & Legends?

Whether you keep the gold for yourself or share it out will likely depend on a few key circumstances.

If you are close to reaching the next Hideout level, it might be worth tipping all of the gold onto that side of the scales. This will give you an extra push to reach the next set of unlocks, filling the weapon and outfit stores with new cosmetics to buy.

However, some of the weapons and outfits in Hood: Outlaws & Legends are rather expensive, so it will take a long time to save up your own coin reserves if you always share out the gold. If there is a particular item that you are saving up to buy, consider keeping a large chunk of gold for yourself.

Keep in mind that there are different cosmetics for all four characters, so you will need plenty of gold to afford the best items for them.

Does Hideout Level Affect Gameplay In Hood: Outlaws & Legends?

As your Hideout levels up, you will unlock new cosmetics to purchase with gold. However, these have no effect on the actual gameplay. Perks, which impact your character’s abilities and stats, are unlocked by leveling up your character rather than the Hideout.
