Stealth is key in Hood: Outlaws & Legends. Whether you are tracking down the Sheriff to steal the key or attempting to find the Vault Room before the enemy team, you should always try to remain hidden. This guide will cover everything you need to know to stay hidden from NPC guards and enemy players in Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

How To Stay Hidden In Hood: Outlaws & Legends

As you move around the map, there are plenty of ways to ensure that you remain hidden from any enemies. Here are some tips to remember which will help ensure that you and your teammates can roam around freely without being spotted.

Use Bushes To Avoid Being Spotted

Bushes mask you from being spotted by enemy guards whilst also making it much harder for players to see you. Of course, you might still be found by eagle-eyed players, but hiding in a bush is better than sprinting through a heavily guarded fortress.

Make sure you stay crouched whilst you are in a bush. Standing up will make you visible to any surrounding enemies. If a guard spots you, the whole area will enter a lockdown. Guards will fill the area and you won’t be able to escape easily.

Stay Crouched When Moving Around The Fortress

Whether you are in a bush or not, crouching is always best in Hood: Outlaws & Legends. Although you move slower whilst crouched, you will be much quieter and less visible. This will allow you to sneak towards the Vault Room without being seen so that you can get an advantage over the enemy.

If your opponents already have the chest and are making their way to an extraction point, crouching will allow you to silently keep up until you are ready to perform a counter-attack.

Work As A Team And Tag Enemies

Teamwork is essential, even when you are sneaking around the various fortresses in Hood: Outlaws & Legends. Having teammates nearby allows you to spot enemies for each other, ensuring that every member of your team is aware of any threats. Use the tag function to highlight enemies, so that everyone on your team can see where they are.

If you are spotted by enemies, a nearby teammate could swoop in and kill them before anyone else is alerted, helping you all stay hidden. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching a teammate’s arrow fly past and silently kill a guard just before the rest of the fortress is alerted to your location.
