Stealth is meant to be key in Hood: Outlaws & Legends, although players are treating matches more like traditional deathmatches. The Suspense Is Terrible is an achievement that needs you and your team to put the focus back on sneaking around. To unlock it, you must successfully extract the treasure without killing anyone on the enemy team.

This guide will cover everything that you need to know to unlock The Suspense Is Terrible in Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

How To Unlock The Suspense Is Terrible In Hood: Outlaws & Legends

Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a team game, and you are going to need a skilled group to complete The Suspense Is Terrible. The easiest way to complete this achievement/trophy is using stealth, as the enemy team will start a fight if they spot you.

To successfully sneak through an entire heist, you need to know how to stay hidden. This doesn’t just mean hiding from enemy players. You also need to avoid guards, as the enemy team will be alerted to your location if the guards raise an alarm.

Of course, you could also attempt to brute force your way through instead. Even if the enemy team does spot you, don’t kill them. Instead, have three teammates luring away and distracting enemy players, whilst you complete objectives.

Stealing the key, carrying the chest, and winching it to victory might seem like a lot of tasks for one player, but the rest of the team will have an important role in antagonizing and distracting enemies.

Which Character Should You Use To Unlock The Suspense Is Terrible?

If you are focusing on stealth as a team, use Marianne. Her ability, Shroud, allows her to go invisible, which will help you easily hide from enemy players. As you can still assassinate guards whilst unlocking this achievement, you can charge up the ability easily and turn invisible a few times throughout a match.

Equip the Phantom Stalker and Silent Slaughter perks to buff Marianne’s stealth capabilities. Phantom Stalker increases your crouched movement speed, whilst Silent Slaughter allows you to extend your invisibility by chaining assassination kills.

If you are taking the loud approach, whoever is carrying and winching the chest should be Tooke. He is able to complete these tasks faster than Robin and Marianne, whilst his Instinct ability allows him to heal himself and nearby teammates. This could be useful if you need to buy yourself a few more seconds to get out of a bad situation. Other players on the team should play as Robin or Marianne, as their flash and smoke grenades will confuse the enemy team.

If you are playing as Tooke, use the Innate Insight and Roaming Monk perks. Innate Insight allows you to start with one full ability charge, so you can heal early if needed. Roaming Monk increases your sprint speed, so you can outrun pursuing enemies.
