Now Green Hell, which has sold over a million copies, is in development for VR according to a press release. It will be adapted from its original first-person view by Incuvo, a European development studio that specializes in VR games. The team, which worked on the VR adaptations of Layers of Fear and Blair Witch, focuses on finding a balance between a title’s gameplay and established VR practices in order to create a high level of immersion, according to the release.
The pre-production stages of the virtual reality adaptation of Green Hell have already been completed. The development team at Incuvo is currently working on the alpha version, which will release a few months before the game’s official launch in Q3 of 2021 on PCVR and later on Oculus Quest.
Green Hell is available on PC and will be released in VR in 2021.
