How to build your gaming PC

  • Building your own PC usually ends up with an excess of wires/cables, screws and parts that you don’t need. Don’t panic if this happens. Complete PC builds may include cables that don’t connect to anything and this might not be a problem. Again, don’t panic. Use an anti-static wrist strap at all times.  Don’t start cable tying until the very end, in case you have something in the wrong place that needs to be moved.  If the case has protective stickers on it, leave them on until the end to avoid accidental scratching while you’re building. Keep all instruction manuals handy so you can easily reference them while you work. Keep any screws you remove in a logical place so you know where they are when they need to go back in.
