How to turn off Snapchat auto updates
Open the Play Store app From the main menu, tap Settings. Now, disable Auto-update apps.
Go to Snapchat’s app page on the Play Store Tap the menu button (three vertical dots). From there, you’ll be able to turn off auto-update for Snapchat.
Open the Settings app. Swipe up until you find iTunes & App Store. Under Automatic Downloads, turn off the toggle next to Updates.
