Season 4 of Modern Warfare and Warzone has arrived, and while that’s good news in most instances, it also means leveling up from scratch all over again.
After a short delay to the start of Modern Warfare and Warzone’s new season, the update was finally rolled out this week. As expected, Season 4 has brought a lot of new features along with it. As had been rumored during the build to the new season, Captain Price has joined Warzone. The addition of “mid-game events” will also have piqued the interest of players.
When it comes to any battle royale game, the start of a new season is usually teeming with excitement. It is often accompanied by a monumental in-game event or a huge change. Take Fortnite, for example, Epic is teasing a catastrophic event to trigger the transition from season two to three next week.
That wasn’t the case in Warzone, although that warhead is still looming in Bunker 11. As exciting as a new BR season can be, it also means starting from scratch all over again. Battle Passes and progress are reset to level one and it’s like playing a brand new game. Though this season players will hopefully be more adept at leveling up than they were last season, and the one before.
That should mean the ascension up through the levels should come far easier than it ever has previously. Players need to keep in mind the best ways to cycle up through those levels as fast as possible, though. It might sound cliché, and maybe even a little patronizing, but there are four key ways to do that.
Those four things are getting kills, completing challenges, winning matches, and best of all, be sure to participate in Warzone’s Double XP weekends. Since there are none of those weekends on the horizon, and kills and wins can be hard to come by for some players, completing challenges are anyone’s best bet. Weigh up your strengths and the challenges on offer and see which ones are the best to complete for you, with the biggest payoffs. That should have you back to your Season 3 level before you know it.
