Anyone with a Roku streaming player or Roku TV already has access to the Beachbody On Demand channel. Beachbody has developed some of the most popular and effective home exercise programs of the last few decades, including P90X, PiYo, Insanity, Body Beast, 21 Day Fix, and this platform offers all of these and more. They have over 1,500 workouts available. Some do require equipment, but most don’t need more than a yoga mat and some light dumbbells to get started. Beachbody On Demand even offers meal planning and fitness coaching. This is great for people looking to get started on a whole pre-designed fitness program and have no idea where to start. The channel isn’t free, but anyone interested can get a 14-day free trial and three-month memberships are $39 after that. That’s likely cheaper than a gym membership and most definitely safer.
Where to start: There are so many different programs here that it shouldn’t be hard to find something appealing. For someone with absolutely no idea where to start, the Focus T25 program offers quick, intense workouts that can be completed in under 25 minutes a day.

YouTube is a great place to find free workouts. Looking for HIIT? Cardio? Strength training? Yoga? Pilates? It’s all here. The only drawback with YouTube is that many channels offer several isolated workouts to attract people to their paid programs. This means beginners or people just starting to get into fitness will have a harder time finding a comprehensive program on the platform. Still, the sheer amount of free content here is staggering once someone knows what they’re looking for.
