HP has unveiled new gaming accessories that emphasize both affordability and quality, hoping to provide solid options to those unable to spend big. This includes two new gaming mice and HP’s first wireless headset as well. For the most part, these are basic in terms of amenities but reliable for the price.
The two mice are very similar but of different quality. The Omen Vector is the better of the two, priced at $49, it is a reliable and customizable mouse. It features some colored LEDs, a thumb grip, and additional weights that players can use to spec the mouse to their liking.
On the flip side, the Omen Vector Essential has nearly exactly the same design, but lacks the aforementioned features of a colored LED, thumb grip, and additional weights. The Vector Essential is priced at $29 and is a great option if those bells and whistles don’t matter.
Finally, the HP X1000 is the company’s first wireless headset, and provides the bare minimum required. Sitting comfortably at $99.99, it is compatible with not only PCs but also the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This is a great option for those looking for affordable but reliable communication while gaming.
