To recap

HTC has righted wrongs with the HTC 10, presenting a very competitive Android handset. It has evolved, dropping bloat and reinforcing the elements that HTC is known for, resulting in a great all-round handset. However, it doesn’t quite have the prowess to take the top spot. It’s a great handset that HTC and Android fans will love, but Samsung still presents a challenge.
