While this is an incredible smartphone for all it does with cameras, battery life and design, the lack of Google apps out of the box is a massive problem. How can stores, networks, or we recommend it against the P30 Pro or a competitor? It’s a success in China, but unless something dramatic changes then the Mate 30 Pro just doesn’t make sense for a Google-commited audience. That’s the sad truth.
