Did you ever wish the gaming subreddit was just a little more image-focused? Imgur’s new mobile app should satisfy.

Imgur. The site where images go to be posted once and then never seen again, or where you go to find that perfect gif that isn’t already saved in your messenger program. Apparently, Imgur isn’t satisfied with just being that site you use occasionally and now they want to be a permanent fixture on your mobile device.

But only if you’re a gamer. The new app from Imgur is called “Melee” and it’s a “gaming-focused and community-powered app” for iPhone and Android.

“It’s super effective at keeping you entertained with the latest clips and highlights from your favorite games,” writes Imgur on their dedicated launch site (also hosted on Imgur, obv). The idea here is that you upload your pics, gifs, and videos, and share them with the world. Good ones get provided with “XP,” which is basically the same as an upvote. Get enough XP and your post will start trending, making it more visible to the rest of the Melee community.

Sounds like Reddit, right? Great–you got it. The only difference is that Melee is JUST for gaming. Instead of subreddits, you follow specific games, people, streamers (they’re not always people), and your favorite guild buddies, voting on your favorite posts along the way.

The top 3 games currently on Melee are Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Fortnite. No surprises there.

Download Melee to your mobile device here and prepare to be almost as entertained as actually playing the game yourself.
