Immortals Fenyx Rising is jam-packed with secrets to find, bosses to defeat, and trials to endure. Each of the game’s regions are full of areas that are definitely worth visiting. but for the purpose of this list, the main focus will be on the game’s first two areas.
Clashing Rocks is where players begin their adventure, and acts as the game’s tutorial zone similar to the Great Plateau in Breath of the Wild. After a brief introduction, you’ll gain access to The Valley of Eternal Spring, home to Aphrodite and a trove of cool spots to discover.
10 Messenger Of The Gods
The Messenger of the Gods statue marks the player’s entry into the main island of Immortals Fenyx Rising. Climbing this monolith rewards gamers with a view that shows the entire world that they’ll shortly be exploring.
The story will naturally take players here, but it’s well worth going for a quick sneak peek before you start the prologue of the game to take in all the beauty. It’s also a fairly tricky test considering how little stamina Fenyx has in the game’s early hours.
9 Clashing Rocks Islands (A Proper Sendoff)
There are a lot of things to discover on the islands surrounding the Clashing Rocks, but this side quest is a must for players not least because it allows you to explore a fairly interesting area. The quest itself is pretty simple too and has a nice back story as well.
This area can easily be missed if players are keen to get into the main game, but it really is worth exploring as it introduces a lot of mechanics such as Odysseus Challenges and Guarded Chests.
8 Goddess Of Love
The Valley of Eternal Spring is home to the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, so her statue is the one you’ll be climbing to unveil this region. The view from the top of this statue is gorgeous, with rolling fields, and beautiful vistas as far as the eye can see.
Players will find themselves climbing the Goddess of Love eventually as the main quest, but it is definitely advisable to head this way before you tackle anything else in the Valley of Eternal Spring.
7 Eros’ Haven
Eros’ Haven is the most beautiful location in the Valley of Eternal Spring and is packed with different types of challenges and enemies to defeat. The main feature of the area is a large palace, decorated with flowers and fauna, but it’s full of enemies so it’s a real test for players early into the game.
The Constellation challenge in Eros’ Haven is a must-complete too, rewarding players with ten Charon coins, which are used to upgrade Fenyx’s abilities. There’s also a Fresco challenge too, granting another two Charon coins upon completion.
6 Hall Of The Gods
The Hall of the Gods is essentially the hub players will constantly return to during their adventure. It should also be the first place you visit as soon as you reach the Valley of Eternal Spring, it’s where you can upgrade your abilities, weapons, health, stamina and more.
It’s also where Hermes’s Heroic Task Board is located, there are 36 of these tasks to get through, with live ones being added each day. The rewards vary from currency to armor sets, so it’s worth checking in every so often to see where your progress lies.
5 ‘Mini Moon’ Challenge
One of the Navigation Challenges in the Valley of Eternal Spring centers around the story of the Moon Goddess, Selene. In a tribute to her role, the challenge revolves around pushing a large boulder up a hill towards a golden building adorned with moon imagery.
Once you push the boulder into place, rather than simply sitting there like almost every other rock in the game, it instead rises and begins to glow, replicating a moon, a fitting end to a story about Selene’s love.
4 Indika’s Habitat
It’s crucial to get a good mount in Immortals Fenyx Rising unless you love endlessly running and shoving blue mushrooms into Fenyx’s mouth. Indika is one of the best mounts in the game, and you can unlock it right at the start.
Located in the area surrounding Gaia’s Soul Tree, Indika has three bars of stamina, and well it’s a unicorn. As much as Indika is useful from a mechanical standpoint, it looks pretty incredible too and should be an early priority for new players.
3 Vaults Of Tartaros
Rather than being one place, the Vaults of Tartaros is more of a collection, but they should definitely be checked out for the rewards they offer. Similar in nature to the BOTW shrines, vaults provide small puzzle or combat gauntlets for players to navigate through.
Vaults are a brilliant way of getting new weapons and armor, especially in the early game, and they’re also a great place to get to grips with Immortals Fenyx Rising’s more advanced movement and combat skills.
2 Shark Temple
The mysterious shark temple can be found just off the coast of the Valley of Eternal Spring and is home to one of the games hidden quests. There isn’t any significant reward upon completion, but it’s still worth completing. Especially because there isn’t much swimming in Immortals so any opportunity to do so should be taken.
This quest explores Hera’s relationship with her two children, Tethys and Oceanus, and the additional narration is given by Zeus and Prometheus is as humorous as it is informative. It’s a beautiful location, and should definitely be explored as early as possible.
1 Hermes’ Secret Hideaway
It isn’t actually possible to reach Hermes’ Hideout on the games main map. There is a small chance that upon fast travelling to the Hall of Gods it’ll take you to Hermes’ hideaway instead. It isn’t a glamorous location by any means, but it does have a secret chest which is impossible to get in any other way.
It doesn’t have the beauty of the Valley of Eternal Spring, or a great reward upon discovery, but it is a pretty cool location to stumble upon and is somewhere that every Immortals Fenyx Rising player has to find before they move on from the game.
