Timelie - the debut title from indie game developer Urnique Studio - has officially been released on Steam after spending nearly five years in development.

The time manipulation puzzle game tasks players with guiding a girl and her mysterious cat through a surreal world of puzzles, using her ability to manipulate time to get her through the labyrinth of hallways, corridors, and bridges. Players can utilize different strategies to make their way through each area, utilizing stealth to get past enemies and rewinding time should they be caught.

Timelie also features a unique single-player co-op mechanic in which they can play as both the girl as well as the cat simultaneously as they work together to unravel the mysteries of their world and their connected relationship.

Timelie began as a class project, but evolved into a major indie release following the early versions of the game receiving awards and industry recognitions including “Best Game” at Microsoft’s 2016 Imagine Cup Student Development Competition, “Best Game” at the 2016 Thailand National Software Contest, and “Best Student Technical Project” at the 2017 Bangkok International Digital Content Festival.

Those recognitions are certainly enough to warrant a look, especially for fans of the surreal or puzzle games in general.
