Wholesome Games is bringing us a video showcase of over 50 games that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Not every game has to involve shooting, punching, or ripping demons in half using nothing but your pinky toes. Sometimes games can be a little kinder, a little gentler, and a little less covered in the entrails of your enemies.
Wholesome Games is looking to lift up those video games that try to do things differently. That is to say, they’re cute, friendly, and compassionate in ways that 99% of modern games just aren’t. And now for the first time, Wholesome Games is going to show you what you’re missing.
On May 26 at 1 PM EST, Wholesome Direct will showcase over 50 indie games that meet their definition of the word “wholesome.”
“Our hope is that this showcase brings joy to both the developers and fans involved,” reads Wholesome Games on their website. “Please look forward to exclusive footage and announcements from games like Ooblets, Spiritfarer, SkateBIRD, Little Witch in the Woods, Garden Story, Chicory, Rainy Season, and many more!”
