2020’s first Inside Xbox episode will air tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th, at 2pm EST, with plans to share details on what everyone has been waiting for… Sea of Thieves updates.
Besides Sea of Thieves - a game that is currently free to play on Xbox Game Pass - the Inside Xbox team will be providing updates on Gears Tactics, Game Pass, along with some “surprises” from the ID@Xbox team.
Additionally, although Jason Ronald - Director of Program Management for Xbox Series X - is expected to discuss the already revealed tech specs, there will probably not be much in the way of any new news surrounding the Xbox Series X.
Finally, the post-stream will feature single-player gameplay for Grounded, the upcoming survival adventure game coming to Xbox and PC.
Not what you were expecting? Us either. One would think that with the recent delays of so many highly-anticipated games - namely the delay of the PlayStation 4-exclusive, The Last of Us 2 - Microsoft would want to seize the opportunity to captivate an audience thirsty for some good news within the world of gaming. That, unfortunately, doesn’t appear to be the case.
Who knows, though. Maybe the Inside Xbox team has something up its sleeve to blow viewers away. But if the show’s previous trend of lackluster coverage is any indication, we’re not going to get our hopes up.
Inside Xbox can be watched live on via Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter at 2pm EST on April 7th.
