Battlefield 6–if that is indeed what EA and DICE plan to call the upcoming Battlefield game–is perhaps the worst-kept secret in gaming right now. Leaked images have been around for a month showing us that Battlefield 6’s setting will return to modern times with perhaps just a little futurism for flavoring. And leaked audio and trailer footage from last month has apparently provided us with 80% of what EA plans to show us next month, according to a new rumor.

And now we have a full internal trailer leaked on the Battlefield 6 subreddit. According to Eurogamer, this trailer was intended for internal use only, so there’s a big rectangle in the center of the screen to prevent EA from finding out the source of the leak (these internal videos have watermarks to identify their recipients).

EPILEPSY WARNING. Before you click the link, just be aware that the video features a lot of rapidly flashing images. Photosensitive viewers should be cautious.

Much of what we see in this leaked trailer is more of the same. The opening section of V-22 Osprey aircraft flying over an island along with soldiers storming the beach is very similar to leaked images that appeared in April, as is the battle taking place at the foot of a space rocket launchpad. The audio also sounds similar to leaked recordings earlier this month which featured a lot of soldiers shouting, explosions, and a rocket countdown timer.

That rocket blows apart dramatically right at the end of the video, proving that you shouldn’t try to launch an interstellar spacecraft while there’s open warfare happening all around you. And also during a hurricane, which sort of shows up midway through the battle.

Battlefield 6 is expected to release sometime late this year as a “truly next-gen experience,” according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson. An official reveal is expected in the coming weeks–Summer Games Fest is right around the corner, after all.
