Players of The Sims 4 have been reporting that their Sims have been peeing fire on occasions following a recent update.
The Sims recently topped a poll of which games are best to play when trying to relieve stress. Those who took part in that survey clearly never tried to have their Sim prepare a delicious meal without first cracking a cookbook. We thought the one place our Sims would be safe from the flames is the bathroom, but apparently not.
Some Sims 4 players have been reporting that their Sims have been peeing fire, as reported by IGN. The glitch (at least we hope it’s a glitch) has been spotted multiple times since the latest update was rolled out. It also appears to happen when a Sim is feeling tense. So tense that their urine bursts into flames, it would seem.
The good news is that as far as those who have seen the painful phenomenon happen can tell, the burning begins and ends when a Sim is done peeing. It doesn’t cause them any pain, nor does it set the toilet bowl alight. Ironically, this glitch manifested during the same week that firefighters were added to the game. If Sims are going to start peeing fire every time they get tense, the game’s new emergency service is in for a busy few days.
