Duos were briefly mentioned on the Call of Duty: Warzone website, which might mean that two-person teams are coming.
Season 3’s update has definitely shaken up Warzone. Instead of three-person squads, Infinity Ward has replaced them with four-person squads (or quads), and people are not happy about it. Players are demanding more game modes, not less, and removing trios after so many Warzone fans have just solidified their three-person teams is just a slap in the face.
Luckily, we might not have to wait too long for a new game mode to appear. Duos were listed as an upcoming game mode on the official Call of Duty: Warzone website. The site has since taken down that image, but not before Warzone fans managed to grab screenshots and post them to the Warzone subreddit.
Most players are expecting duos to arrive later in the season, but without an official announcement from Infinity Ward, your guess is as good as ours for exactly when that might be. In the meantime, better get ready to break up your quad into a pair of two-man teams.
