Bad Robot Games, part of the production company of Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, and Fortnite developer Epic Games reveal a brand new game collaboration, Spyjinx. Epic Games has joined the world of games about spies before as Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 has spy skins and challenges.

On the official Spyjinx site, Epic Games says that the game has strategy and RPG gameplay as players try to become a spy mastermind. Players will create a base, fill the rooms in their base with “Artifacts,” and will try to stop other players from stealing them. Spyjinx allows players to train spies with different abilities and gadgets and can also try to get into other players’ bases.

A Spiyjinx beta launches on iOS in Malaysia this week, and it will soon be coming to Australia. Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything about a Spyjinx release on Android devices or in other countries, but tells fans to sign up as it will email them when that changes. Choosing to release Fortnite on iOS first led to many clone games on Android and fans will be hoping that this doesn’t happen again with Spyjinx.

It’s also unclear when the game will leave beta, as Epic says that it wants to learn from it before launching Spyjinx everywhere. Epic Games also says that Fortnite is in early access and that game makes billions of dollars so the developer really does enjoy testing its games before it completely releases them.

Spyjinx is now available in beta on iOS in Malaysia and has been confirmed for Australia. It hasn’t been announced for other countries.
