Harry Potter game publishing label Portkey Games has helped produce three titles so far, with the latest being Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, developed by mobile game giant Zynga. Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells was quite successful in 2020, winning multiple awards and being considered by many to be one of the best mobile games of the year. Now even more Harry Potter fans will have the chance to check the game out, as Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is coming to South Korea....

Before anyone says it—no, it isn’t because there have been so many of them. The Pokemon series has managed to release significantly more games than Mario Party, and the Pokemon games still manage to be fun, creative, and engaging. So, the argument that it’s to “be expected” that Mario Party has devolved into this luck-based game that is devoid of almost all strategy is mute. Pokemon might leave some qualities to be desired, but overall, the games have continued to be a raging success, while I would give away copies of all my Mario Party games that came after Mario Party 4 for free if someone asked me for them....

I love all of the techno babble around the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition remaster. It’s all 4K this and ray tracing that, which basically translates into it being the same game we all know and love, it just looks better. That’s why I’m so fascinated by the work of Lee Swain and Brett Pelaez. I am among the crowd that absolutely adored Naruto. Yes, I’m sure it’s two parts nostalgia and one part actually thinking the story was great after analyzing it, but so it goes. Though it’s been years since the anime ended, I still have not gotten over how absolutely terrible Sasuke and Sakura’s love story was. On the same day that GOG changed its mind and decided it wouldn’t be listing Devotion on its storefront, an indie developer announced it wouldn’t sell its game on the service. According to Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, the open world title, Grand Theft Auto 5, has now officially shipped upwards of 80 million copies worldwide. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed as much during the company’s Q4 and fiscal year earnings release, declaring that the game has at least sold-in another 5 million units since the company’s last financial report back in February 2017. While some might speculate that digital units are the main sales drivers for this massive monetary accomplishment, Zelnick actually revealed that physical copies are primarily what have assisted Grand Theft Auto 5 in maintaining its status as one of the highest-selling games of all time....
