Hyper Scape, Ubisoft Montreal’s high-tech entry into the crowded battle royale genre, is gearing up for its second season of competitive play. Ubisoft has released a trailer showcasing some of the new content headed to the free-to-play shooter. Releasing in August after a brief open beta in July, Hyper Scape features intense duels in a Ready Player One-esque metaverse, moderated by an AI. This AI randomly applies modifiers to the match parameters such as low-gravity or infinite ammo, while systematically erasing parts of the map to concentrate the conflict....

Nintendo has recently announced the newest entry in the Zelda series with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The game is set 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild and will tell the story of how Calamity Ganon defeated the heroes and took over Hyrule Castle. It’s official: Green Lantern is coming to HBO Max as a live-action television series, set to boost a growing lineup of DC Comics-adapting content on the recently-launched streaming service. The Green Lantern greenlight, as reported by Variety, cements the previously touted television project with an order for 10 one-hour-long episodes. Rockstar Games continues to build anticipation for Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony with weekly updates on a number of exclusive features.
