Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the most peculiar games on Ubisoft’s launch schedule. In many ways, it resembles Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, combining elements of both to create something distinct. Game Rant sat down with Immortals Fenyx Rising Game Director Scott Phillips to learn more about the game, its inspirations, and what it brings to the table. Over the past couple of weeks Battlefield 3 has been met with some stern criticism for both its missteps in single player and inability to provide a consistent multiplayer experience. Today, Rockstar Games released an official trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online’s Gunrunning update, providing a look at all of the illegal arms trafficking action possible in the upcoming DLC. Perhaps more importantly, though, the fresh piece of footage confirms the update’s release date, which is set for next week on June 13, 2017. A new Grand Theft Auto leak has many fans of the series scratching their heads. The Pan European Game Information rating board, more commonly known as PEGI, has recently rated both the original Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 not for the PlayStation 4, but for the PlayStation 3. The open beta for 3D fighting game Gundam Versus goes live in early September, according to an announcement made by Bandai Namco. After a successful launch in Japan on July 6 and a great EVO 2017 side-tournament turn-out, Bandai Namco is preparing the giant robot fighting game for its western release. The main game won’t launch until September 29, but fans can try playing as soon as September 2 exclusively on PlayStation 4....

It has been confirmed that Halo Infinite won’t be released until 2021, which disappointed many fans who were expecting the game to launch this year. Moreover, much of the game’s story remains a mystery, but it appears that players can get a glimpse of Halo Infinite’s narrative, long before its release sometime next year. This window into Halo Infinite’s story will be through the new book called Halo: Shadows of Reach, which is scheduled to release on October 20th and is said to provide some “connective tissues” that will link it to the upcoming game....

Even though gaming is more accepted by the mainstream than it ever has been before, there are still many out there that typically wouldn’t give a video game a second glance. In order to appeal to these people, publishers spend a considerable amount of cash producing live action trailers that will grab their attention, like the recent live action Destiny: The Taken King trailer featuring an epic battle with Oryx.
