Twitch users were surprised to find a new game that had only sort of been announced become the top game on the streaming service this Thursday morning. Big news from IO Interactive, makers of the renowned murder simulator Hitman. They’re working on a “new project” and plan to reveal it to the world tomorrow at 9 AM EST, according to their most recent Twitter post. The words “new project” are key here since it most likely means we’ll see something other than another Hitman title. Hitman 3 was announced last June during the PS5 livestream event, so we already know that IO Interactive is working on a new Hitman game....

The first Iron Banner of Season 11 is here and it brought some highly desirable loot. Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to get the gear you actually want. A Destiny 2 player called @wvardythefourth on Twitter did the math breaking down the probability of getting specific items with specific stats, and the probability if depressingly low. What makes it worse is the fact that there are no repeatable bounties and no consistent way of earning Iron Banner tokens....

When Assassin’s Creed Unity launched late last year, fans were shocked to discover that the game they’d been waiting for didn’t appear to have completed development. A huge amount of bugs made Unity unplayable, from the frustrating (loot chests being inaccessible without a connection to Ubisoft’s servers and Ubisoft’s poor server connections) to the downright comical (character faces disappearing and NPCs randomly showing up in cutscenes). There were also framerate drops that went against Ubisoft’s promises that the game would run at 900p and 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One....
