The first season of Invincible is set to take place over eight, hour-long episodes and is written by Robert Kirkman of The Walking Dead. Kirkman is adapting his own original comic for the show, which features Mark Grayson as the 17 year old son of Earth’s most powerful superhero. Overall the show will be about Grayson balancing both the pressures of normal teenage life with finding his purpose and identity as a superpowered being, but will also be more violent than your typical coming of age story....

Sony used Iron Man VR to kick off its first-ever State of Play presentation, so the company clearly has high expectations for the game. Fans can get an idea of whether or not it lives up to the hype by trying the new Iron Man VR demo, which Sony has released to the masses today. PlayStation VR users can download the Iron Man VR demo from the PlayStation Store. It should be noted that Iron Man VR’s original release date was this month, but it has since been pushed back to July 3....

It looks like it’s finally the end of the line for Master Chief’s trusty shotgun. A recent interview with several Halo Infinite designers reveals that the close-range weapon is being retired in favor of a new weapon. Introduced in the original Halo: Combat Evolved, the M90 Close Assault Weapons System, or simply the M90 shotgun, has been a staple weapon for Master Chief and the UNSC. The news comes as part of developer 343 Industries’ first monthly Halo Infinite update, which is part of a series that is set to occur until the highly anticipated title’s release later this year....

The Academy: The First Riddle - from developer Pine Studios - is an upcoming puzzle adventure that fans of Harry Potter and Professor Layton will want to be sure to take note of, as the game draws much of its inspiration from those franchises (while looking very similar to The Sims 4 franchise in terms of overall character design). It was announced today that The Academy: The First Riddle will be released on June 19th for PC via Steam, as well as on iOS and Android devices....

TinyBuild, the indie publishing house that has enjoyed a wealth of success after the explosion of its Hello Neighbor series, seems to be taking cues from other companies like Roblox in their latest business decisions. The company is looking to continue on its upward trajectory, and the first major step on that path has taken them public on the London Stock Exchange. TinyBuild is perhaps best known for its status as publisher of the Hello Neighbor horror franchise after its purchase of the development studio last year....

About a month ago, Man of Steel and Immortals star Henry Cavill threw his hat into the ring to play Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s forthcoming television adaptation of The Witcher, which is based on the fantasy saga by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and the video game series from CD Projekt Red. Now, it looks as if the project’s creators believe that the British actor best fits the bill to take on the role of the White Wolf, as Cavill has been confirmed to be playing Geralt in the TV show....

With Horizon Forbidden West just around the corner, now is the perfect time to dive into the original game, Horizon Zero Dawn, if you missed it on the PS4. While Horizon Zero Dawn takes a lot of cues from similar open-world games, being something of a combination between Far Cry and The Witcher 3, its design is unlike either one and can’t be approached in the same way. Trying to engage with Zero Dawn in the same way as other open-world action games is likely to result in many more game overs than is desirable, which is not helped by the game’s long load times between deaths that can turn people away from an otherwise amazing title....

The Deep End Games announces Perception, an innovative new horror game set in an abandoned mansion with a blind protagonist who sees the world through sound. Fans of the Bioshock and Dead Space series will be happy to know that a group of devs that worked on both these popular franchises have banded together to form The Deep End Games. This new studio is currently working on a very innovative horror game, called Perception, that tasks players with guiding a blind, female protagonist, named Cassie around an abandoned mansion....

John Lewis is an avid collector of video games. He started his collection as a child and continued to collect games for over 20 years. In 2011, his home was burglarized and he lost around 600 of the games that were in his collection. Despite this unfortunate setback, John continued to collect video games, eventually amassing a collection of over 2,000 games and over 30 systems. Then on September 8 of this year around 7:30pm, a house fire started in his kitchen, destroying everything in his home, including his game collection....

The world of Lake Lapcat is covered in silver boxes which are practically invincible to Mario and his petty power-up performance because these boxes are made of something much harder than even the world itself. It very well may be moon rocks, like in Super Mario Odyssey. But without the powers and magic of Super Mario Odyssey, that means Mario in Bowser’s Fury is stuck. But not to worry, for there is one thing in Lake Lapcat that is powerful enough to take down the silver boxes, and of course, it’s the kaiju-like Fury Bowser himself....

Apple Fitness+ offers 12 workout types, which include kickboxing, pilates, dance, HIIT and meditation, among others. Until recently though, despite offering more than 3,500 workouts, the platform didn’t offer specific sleep meditation workouts, like Peloton does. Instead, the meditation sessions were centred around bringing calmness and relaxation rather than onsetting sleep. Sleep meditation workouts arrived on Apple Fitness+ in January 2023 though, around three years after the service was first announced....
