As much as 343 Industries may not like it, there is, and has always been a large portion of Halo players whose interest begins and ends with the singleplayer campaign. There’s nothing wrong with being more interested in taking on computer-controlled Covenant throughout the fiction the developers have concocted, than facing the looming threat of online griefers. But for Halo 4, 343 is doing everything they can to change up multiplayer, from adding a brand new co-op, story-based episodic campaign in Spartan Ops, to applying an overarching persistence via the UNSC Infinity....

343 Industries unveils brand new information regarding the upcoming Warzone Firefight update for Halo 5: Guardians, which promises to be the biggest update yet. The free updates for Halo 5: Guardians just keep rolling in. Mere weeks ago, gamers were treated to the Hog Wild expansion, which brought it with some Warthog-themed content. Although 343 Industries then promised a break from the free updates for the game, this was down to a very good reason: the next update for the title was going to be the biggest one yet....

Hazelight Studios director Josef Fares was eager to announce the studio’s next game during EA Play Live tonight. After reminiscing about his wonderful F-Bomb during The Game Awards 2018, Fares introduced It Takes Two and stated, “It will blow your fucking mind.” It was described as a co-op action-adventure platformer and that makes a lot of sense. Hazelight seems to be the king of making cooperative experiences. We got some short glimpses of concept art for It Takes Two, but that was really it....

The prequels are not any Star Wars fan’s favourite subject. Even if you kinda liked them (and they definitely have their awesome moments, no matter what you think of then in general) they have some serious flaws, such as plot inconsistencies, midi-chlorians and the monstrosity that is Jar Jar Binks. The prequels are probably the most controversial part of the whole canon: the horror of Jar Jar alone is enough to spark fights, should anyone dare defend him....

It has only been a day since Hitman 3 released, and players are already finding ways to make impressive speed runs through the game’s various levels. In perhaps one of the most noteworthy feats posted on the internet so far, one player managed to beat the first level of Hitman 3 in less than 2o seconds. Hitman 3 is the final installment in IO Interactive’s World of Assassination trilogy that began in 2016....

Professional eSports players have long had a history of making serious money, and it seems that Overwatch fans will soon be earning what can only be described as a little more than their fair share. According to the Overwatch League Player Agreement, the professional gamers will be earning a minimum salary of $50,000 a year. That’s not all the benefits of becoming a pro-Overwatch player either it seems, as signed players are also entitled to health insurance and a retirement saving plan with when their minimum one-year contract is signed....

Call of Duty: Warzone is now officially one year old, and what a year it has been. Verdansk has been overhauled multiple times, we’ve celebrated new weapons and waved goodbye to old favourites, we’ve competed with a legion of stim glitch abusers hiding out in the ring, and we’ve struggled to get a single win. Or maybe that’s just me. Warzone has had an amazing first year and has already cemented itself as one of the premier battle royale games, to the point that even a new Call of Duty game entirely couldn’t shift it from its throne....

For those currently at home waiting out the coronavirus pandemic, video games are a pretty obvious way to pass the time. Luckily, there are plenty of new games currently on the market. While not out quite yet, Resident Evil 3 Remake currently has a demo available for free – with a difficult safe to crack. There’s a good chance that most players encountered the safe during their playthrough, and while Resident Evil 3 does give a hint as to how to open it, it isn’t all that straight forward as to what needs to happen next....

Tap on a Pokemon you want, then tap on the footprints below the location and Pokemon picture. The map then zooms to a top-down view, showing the area, near a Poke Stop, that the Pokemon was sighted. When returning to your normal Pokemon Go navigation view, that selected Pokemon is indicated with a pink footprints indicator, so you can walk that way and catch it....

Zarude has a cape in Pokemon: The Movie — Secrets of the Jungle and is apparently called “Dada Zarude” now. Despite the fact I am all for “Pokemon but what if it was also Tarzan,” this has done absolutely nothing to alleviate my complete disinterest in Zarude, who I firmly believe is the least inspired Mythical design we’ve ever seen. Zarude is just Shiftry except now it’s a baboon. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Seedot family — Shiftry’s pointy nose and weird feet are great!...

A few weeks ago, I demoed Immortals: Fenyx Rising and liked what I saw: a new IP from Ubisoft with colorful visuals, an expansive open world steeped in Greek mythology, and a comedic story that presents the Olympian gods in a new way. Sadly, the game’s strengths quickly waned, and its plethora of weaknesses began to wear on me over the 25 hours I played Immortals for this review. While I have no intention of picking up this game again, that’s not to say I didn’t have fun with it at times....
