The long-rumored Harry Potter RPG announcement may be quickly approaching if a new round of rumors is to be believed. Warner Bros. has registered a series of URLs hinting that an upcoming Harry Potter event is soon to be announced. Further, the URLs hint that this event will include Harry Potter video games which may or may not feature the rumored Harry Potter RPG. Four different URLs have been registered. They include “wizardingworldfandome,” “harrypotterfandome,” “fantasticbeastsfandome,” and “portkeygamesfandome....

Your target, Alexa Carlisle, is all too aware of her precarious position and she’s committed to never get anywhere close to the windows and balconies unless you can somehow lure her out....

The upcoming launch of Hitman 3 has been highly anticipated. IO Interactive’s upcoming stealth game will task players with performing creative assassinations across the world, with missions in Dubai, Berlin, and elsewhere. If the base game’s content wasn’t enough, however, IO Interactive will let players transfer missions from the original Hitman and Hitman 2 to the new game. But after encountering issues, and kicking off a controversy, IO has gone ahead and made Hitman 1’s DLC initially available to all PC buyers....

Skyrim’s final DLC “Dragonborn” has a very unique feel compared to the rest of the game, taking players to the isolated island of Solstheim first seen in The Elder Scrolls 3: Bloodmoon. The Dark Elf and Nord-dominated island sits at the very edge of the series’ known world, with small towns like Raven Rock etching out a living on what used to the the frontier of the contracting Empire. As well as being one of Skyrim’s most interesting settings, Solstheim also has a lot in common with the Living Lands, the setting for Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming first-person RPG Avowed....

For most PC gaming enthusiasts, HP isn’t the first brand that they think of when discussing virtual reality. The printer and pre-made computer manufacturer is hoping to change that with the Reverb G2, a new headset designed with input from Valve and Microsoft. Positioned as a successor to HP’s original Reverb headset for enterprise users, the new headset is launching with the gaming market in mind, taking design cues from Valve’s Index headset at a more attractive price point....

Nickelodeon is one of TV’s premier sources of tween television, pumping out dozens of shows usually starring young actors that may have some sort of lasting star-power. In a long string of retractions, Microsoft has recently reversed another policy, likely due to enormous backlash from gamers, critics and developers. First was their policy on used games and always-on Internet. Now their shunning of indie developers has been called off and they will now allow indie game self-publishing, something their competitors were offering. Microsoft was listening when thralls of upset consumers announced (angrily online) that they would rather spend their money on a PS4 than deal with Microsoft’s inane and confusing Xbox One policies....

Insomniac Games has confirmed that the footage of its upcoming Spider-Man game shown at E3 was rendered on a standard PlayStation 4, not the souped-up Neo. E3 2016 was packed with new games, many of which were being publicly showcased for the very first time. Among that number was Insomniac Games’ adapatation of Spider-Man, a long-rumored project that was finally unveiled to the masses as part of Sony’s conference. While we didn’t see all that much gameplay, what was there was very impressive....

Continuing on my 2020 trend of playing games from genres that I never really gave a second glance, I recently had the opportunity to check out the bullet-hell, boss-rush title, ITTA, from developer Glass Revolver. Now, before you say, “… BuT thAt GaME caMe OuT a YEaR aGo,” please note that this is a review for the physical Nintendo Switch version from Super Rare Games, released earlier this month. ITTA is a welcome addition to my newly-created Switch cartridge library, providing a fun and challenging experience with a narrative that held my intrigue throughout the entire game....
