Whenever a developer decides to make a game based on a film or film series, there are really only two ways that it can go: either it is fantastic, or it is an abysmal failure. Whenever it is done, it is obviously just an attempt to capitalize on the popularity or notoriety of the series, and that is alright with us so long as it is fun to play. Unfortunately, the normal state of affairs for movie-based games is that they are complete and utter garbage which should only be left in caves and caverns deep within the mountains where the light of day shall never reach....

When Cannibal Holocaust was released, director Ruggero Deodato was arrested for murder. It looks like the highly anticipated next entry in Sony’s long running driving franchise, Gran Turismo 6, is finally ready to hit store shelves later this year. This is according to an Italian retailer that has posted new box art and outlined November 28th as the game’s release. While Sony has yet to confirm this release date, or anything about Gran Turismo 6 for that matter, a November date does align with what we’ve been hearing....

Approaching a year old, Gran Turismo 5 has already made a significant impact on Sony PS3 owners. A dynamic, ever-evolving game, many updates and features have already been released, such as Gran Turismo Anywhere, a new modestly-sized clothing line, and the upcoming Spec 2 update, the largest update owners of the game have seen to date. In preparation for this update, Sony has revealed its new, downloadable content for Gran Turismo 5 through the Sony PlayStation Store....

Today, Gran Turismo Sport’s July update went live, bringing a new race track and even more cars to Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital’s latest entry in the long-running driving and racing simulation game series. What’s more is that the patch has also introduced microtransactions to the title nearly a year after its release in 2017, despite the fact that Polyphony Digital’s CEO, Kazunori Yamauchi, said a couple months before the game came out that the business model wouldn’t be in the project....

For many, Grand Theft Auto Online is a decent way to escape the craziness of the world right now. The city of New Mombassa will finally see the light of day on PC. In a Tweet earlier this morning, Microsoft announced that Halo 3: ODST will be joining the PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on September 22, 2020. In a really nice touch, this is exactly 11 years to the day since its original release on the Xbox 360 back in 2009. As with the other PC ports of Halo titles, ODST will feature mouse and keyboard support, uncapped framerates, higher resolutions, and 21:9 ultrawide options....
