In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, actress Milla Jovovich revealed that her character in Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming Monster Hunter film uses the same weapon as her in-game character. If it wasn’t evident from that sentence, Jovovich is an avid fan of Capcom’s massively popular series and wanted to show her love for the game by representing the Dual-Blades on screen. That’s an exceptionally cool little detail. “Although Milla’s character’s not specifically in the game,” director Anderson said, “she chose the same armour and weapons she uses in the game, so there were aspects of her game character that got folded into the movie representation....

It may be closing in on its seventh birthday, but GTA Online is still getting regular updates. Horizon: Zero Dawn is one of the best titles that gamers need to play of the past generation, so it would make sense for the developer, in this case, Guerrilla Games, to be working on a follow-up, and it may have spilled the beans about a new game. Guerrilla Games recently tweeted about a new job opening at the studio, and while, a job opening wouldn’t be suspicious and wouldn’t necessarily point to Horizon: Zero Dawn 2, as soon as the tweet went up, it was deleted....

With Halo 3 finally coming to PC along with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries has started to take advantage of the new release in order to update the 13 year old game. This includes a number of new customization options, as well as implementing new content to different sections of the collection, including Halo 3’s companion title Halo: ODST. Announced on Halo Waypoint, the official website for the Halo series, including Halo 3, the July Update outlines what 343 Industries has planned for the full Master Chief Collection in future updates....
It was November 1980 when WBC welterweight champion Roberto Duran, just five months after snatching the title from Sugar Ray Leonard, abandoned their rematch in the eighth round by famously walking away and reportedly saying “No mas (no more),” effectively handing the title back to Leonard and stripping himself of a championship for the next three years (for the record, Duran claims he didn’t say “No mas”). That key moment in Duran’s startling and otherwise incredible career comes late in writer/director Jonathan Jakubowicz’s Hands of Stone, an uneven biopic about Duran that paints the man and his career in overly familiar tones....

The next Batman movie, simply titled The Batman, is still over a year from releasing, meaning it’s impossible to guess if people will be excited for yet another cinematic version of the Dark Knight. But Warner Bros is taking its chances, because it’s already working on a TV spinoff set in the universe of the upcoming movie. Variety reports that the studio has ordered a HBO Max-exclusive series that will focus on the Gotham City police department, making it the second TV series in recent years to focus on the cops of Batman’s world, after the Fox series Gotham....
