Considering that both Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default 2 are turn-based JRPGs published by Square Enix, they obviously have quite a bit in common. Hunt: Showdown is a peculiar game, and that is meant in the best possible way. It is brutal, elating, unforgiving, and one of the most rewarding games ever made. There is no hand-holding here, and the only way to learn is by dying. In a game where, when a character dies, they are truly, meaningfully dead, that can seem pretty harsh, but it also ensures that every time you get out of the swamp alive (and maybe grab a kill or two), it feels like you’ve really accomplished something....

Update 1.4.8 for Hunt: Showdown has arrived just in time for the holidays. The new update is on test servers alone for Hunt: Showdown on the PC for now, as players will be able to try out the changes before Crytek implements them into the full game. I’m so desperate for new games. Like clockwork, a new Call of Duty game releases every year in early November. Even though there are still two expansion packs set to release for the latest entry in the series, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Activision has already started hyping the next game in the franchise. Using a cryptic campaign on Snapchat, Activision officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which is being developed by Treyarch. In the official press release, Activision states that, “Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series....

This week, EA launched a higher priced version of its Origin Access subscription service. Priced at $14.99 a month (or $99.99 a year), Origin Access Premier offers a few more benefits than the more affordable, lower tier of Origin Access ($4.99 per month or $30 per year) including access to a larger vault of games. But even with the increased list of benefits, is EA’s Origin Access Premier worth it at this higher price?...

The reviews are in and Hitman 3 looks like a worthy successor to the last two entries in the rebooted trilogy.
