It’s difficult to explain why I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson works. It’s a sketch show, except each episode is made up of only three sketches, which for a 16-minute episode, is well below the usual quick-fire rate of sketch comedy. It also features no recurring sketches, characters, or catchphrases, and aside from Robinson himself, few returning actors. Robinson has been in all 12 episodes and is the star of the majority of them, but after that no actor has been in more than three, playing a new character each time....

So it’s the end of the year, and that means Steam is going to not only host The Steam Awards where platform users get to vote on their favorite games, but also give us a more numerical look at the best games on Steam. This article contains major The Invisible Man spoilers. The Invisible Man is an excellent horror film packed with shocks and scares and with a fun ending which contains several twists. In the ending we see onscreen, Cecilia (Elisabeth Moss) escapes the institution she’s locked in, is cleared of killing her sister and is able to exact a fitting revenge on her abusive husband Adrian (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) with the help of her friend James (Aldis Hodge) who finally believes she was being tortured by her invisible ex....

It’s been a long road to bring Black Adam to the big screen. The first time we see James Bond in 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me, he is enjoying some… personal time with a lovely young blonde woman in a remote cabin somewhere in the snowy mountains of Austria. Because Bond is never at rest for long, however, we are not surprised to see his new watch spout out a ticker message from HQ requesting that he return to duty. With a brief innuendo-filled goodbye to his fetching companion (“something’s come up”), he is quickly out the door in a red and yellow ski suit that looks like something you might wear in order to reconcile a large bet....

As it stands, Sonic Mania has managed to reinvigorate the gaming world’s love affair with Sonic the Hedgehog. The game has been a huge success at launch, gaining the best reviews for a Sonic game in over a decade and earning plaudits for its devoted call-backs to the 2D platformers of old. Guilty Gear Strive charted twice on Steam last week but failed to make it a one-two clean sweep thanks to a resurgent It Takes Two. Hades is widely considered to be one of the best games in recent years, with some even going so far as to consider it the perfect game. Everything seems balanced, it fails to run out of “fun” for hundreds of hours, and there’s a seemingly endless amount of dialogue from the NPCs to discover. It’s hard to find anything that the game is missing, but there are a few tiny changes that would be amazing to see....

The popular multiplayer game mode SWAT is now officially playable in matchmaking for Halo: Combat Evolved, as featured in the Master Chief Collection. The mode is only temporarily available, however, as it will likely be phased out as soon as Combat Evolved’s weekly game mode rotation switches on the first of April. As noted by Tyler Davis, community support at developer 343 Industries, this is SWAT’s debut in Combat Evolved and its matchmaking....

Cortana began life as Master Chief’s naked blue space girlfriend, and it’s always been a little cringe. The artificial intelligence construct designed by and based on Catherine Halsey, the lead scientist behind the controversial Spartan programme, has been by the space marine’s side from the very beginning. For a franchise that so often has placed the hero at the center of attention, occasionally the Halo franchise has also highlighted the vulnerability of its universe. Halo: Reach is a perfect example of this: Spartans are supposed to be the top of the food chain, it’s what the first three Halo games taught players, and yet, the fight to preserve Reach is a constant losing battle. Horizon Forbidden West is probably my most anticipated game of the year, along with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart; which just goes to show that even while Microsoft is making huge gains in the console war with its extra services, there’s nothing quite like an exclusive. It feels odd to label Horizon as one of my favourite franchises after a single game, but I love the world building (if not the open-world itself), the creatures, the ever twisting yet rarely melodramatic storyline, and Aloy herself....

Returnal’s developers, Housemarque, has commented on the lack of mid-run saving in the game. Although Returnal has seen some great critical reception since launching, one of the more common complaints with the game is the fact that you can’t save during a run. That means that if you want to put the game down, you’ll lose whatever progress you’ve made up to that point. Housemarque has commented on this criticism through Twiter after linking a Reddit thread that was discussing the issue....
