When it comes to Yakko, Wacko, and Dot Warner, the trio is meant to come off as timeless. They’re sentient retcons, created in the early 1990s, but also canonically existing since the 1930s. Since the first reveal for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity just a short time ago, one of the biggest questions on fans’ minds is who will be the playable characters. The first Hyrule Warriors game had more than 30 playable characters, so it’s easy to let speculation run wild about the whole host of characters that could become playable in the new game. So far, Nintendo has only fully revealed seven characters as playable — six in the first trailer, and one additional fighter since....

Warframe Twitch Drops 2.0 launched yesterday as “a more user-friendly drop experience,” according to Digital Extremes. What this means is that it’ll be easier than ever to get free loot by watching your favorite Twitch streamer, however, that ease of use comes at a one-time cost of relinking your Warframe and Twitch accounts. Reloading your gun will no longer take you out of aiming down the sights in the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare. It’s a mechanic as old as the first-person shooter genre itself. Whenever you’re plinking bullets into a guy, if you run out of ammo you’ll have to take the gun off your virtual shoulder, hold it to the side, and slot in a new magazine. This often meant your target escapes into cover or has enough time to even start shooting back, and it was the player’s cue to duck under a waist-high wall....

Injustice 2 game director Ed Boon takes to Twitter to shoot down a rumor that suggested that the upcoming fighting game is set to be released on March 28. Earlier this week, it appeared that the Injustice 2 release date had leaked, along with the launch dates for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. The information, which came from an Xbox Live Rewards page, claimed that Injustice 2 would be released on March 28, getting fans giddy that they wouldn’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on the NetherRealm Studios fighting game....

Look, we were as disappointed as anyone to learn that DICE’s upcoming reboot of Star Wars: Battlefront was still at least a year away from release.
