Following up on the success of its soft launch in Canada earlier this year, mobile RPG Guardian Tales - from developer Kakao Games is officially expanding the game’s soft launch to include more territories to gauge more global interest. Argentina, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and New Zealand are the latest territories to be given access to Guardian Tales, with a worldwide launch scheduled for sometime this summer. Guardian Tales is a pixelated mobile RPG adventure in which players adventure through dungeons, solve puzzles, and battle massive bosses, while securing loot and collecting other characters - which apparently come in boxes similar to Funko Pop!...

One of the most anticipated projects in the entire gaming industry, Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, is one we know almost nothing about. With the likes of Guillermo del Toro, Mads Mikkelsen, and Norman Reedus on board for Kojima Productions’ latest work, hype levels for the action-adventure game are at an all-time high, but it seems that even del Toro himself doesn’t quite know what to expect from the title. In a recent interview with IGN regarding Kojima’s latest game, filmmaker Guillermo del Toro spoke briefly about what it has been like to work with the acclaimed developer, and about the Death Stranding gameplay that he is still yet to see....

Halo fans won’t have to wait too much longer to get a first look at a Halo: Infinite, as the game will be featured in the July Xbox 20/20 event. Halo: Infinite was officially announced at E3 2018 with a short cinematic trailer that showed off an alien wilderness, giant sea creatures, and the smallest glimpse of Master Chief. At E3 2019, a new trailer for the game premiered that served as sort of a prologue for the game by introducing a new character and showing how Master Chief was more-or-less brought back from the dead....

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be coming out later this week as a stand-alone title on Windows 10 PC, Xbox One, and Steam. The latter platform has long been the rumored home for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, and will likely cause a huge shift in the already niche title’s online playerbase. While the Halo Wars community did have a small presence on Windows 10, it’s hard to believe that the sudden availability on Steam won’t cause a massive migration of those players onto the much more popular PC gaming client....

However, the original creator left after three seasons and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie before returning several years later. This His Dark Materials review contains spoilers. This is such a weird story. Beautifully so. It’s not surprising that the first attempt to put it on screen in 2007 struggled to capture its peculiar magic, nor that it would justify all the blood, sweat and tears involved in a second go. Focus Home Interactive has announced the win rates for each character in Hood: Outlaws and Legends. Via a blog post, it was revealed that John had the highest win rates since launch with 53.93%, followed by Tooke at 52.80%. Marianne comes in third with 49.39%, and our fearless leader, Robin, comes in last with 48.05%. These numbers aren’t all that divisive, with only 5% separating John and Robin. It’s also been just over a week since launch, so the win rate is bound to change over time and with future updates....

After a bout of controversy, Taiwanese developer Red Candle Games has stated that their recent game Devotion will not likely be returning for players to experience any time soon. The game was recently pulled from Steam, after it was revealed to contain satirical references to Chinese president Xi Jinping. The references drew numerous complaints from Chinese players and led to the publisher, Indieevent, to have its business license revoked by the Shanghai city government....

Star Trek Picard is, unsurprisingly, an absolutely treasure trove of continuity and easter eggs. Sometimes that’s fun, like when Seven of Nine silences the same bus punk that Spock did in Star Trek IV, and sometimes it’s baffling, such as when Guinan mysteriously de-ages and forgets Picard existed some time between the 19th and 21st centuries, or Picard’s Hallucination Dad adding a bunch of unnecessary backstory while gloating he kept his hair (despite the fact we already know he didn’t)....
